become a friend of the market.

Make this experience possible for new and seasoned attendees alike, while making friends along the way!

Become a Member

For $25/year, members receive a quarterly newsletter, invitations to online and town-hall meetings, and an opportunity during the annual meeting held each January to review the yearly budget and to vote on grant awards.

Members may also participate in visits to select farm and kitchen vendors. First-time members receive a tote or tee-shirt. After one year, members may run for office on the Market Board. Stop by the Market Information Booth to become a member.

Become a Volunteer

The Market has several volunteer opportunities throughout the year. Volunteers support events (like a chef demo), tally visitor counts, share the Market story within their communities, or work behind the scenes in a variety of capacities.

You may also consider joining the committee to help us celebrate our 45th Anniversary in 2025. Volunteers earn our respect, gratitude, and a choice of a tee-shirt or tote bag for their efforts. Let the Market staff know how you’d like to help!

Donate and Sponsor

The Market’s business expenses and its events, grants, and staff salaries are funded through vendor fees. Additional support is always welcome. Contact the Board President (president@32ndfm.org) to discuss opportunities to contribute.

BECOME A VENDOR

Do you grow or make your own goods?

We welcome new booths, including guest vendors and holiday market vendors. See if you’re a good fit for 32nd Street.

join our staff

A team of dedicated staff keeps the Market running smoothly. Do you think you’d be a good fit?

The Market Masters assist the Saturday vendors and shoppers on large and small concerns; the Market Information Booth operator handles ATM and EBT interactions. Security staff patrol the Market and the parking lot, and the Operations Manager supervises the entire Market. Inquire about current job openings at the information booth.

Publicize your non-profit

The 32nd Street Farmers Market continues to invite local non-profit organizations to publicize their programs.

To reserve a designated community space, review the guidelines and fill out the application. Spaces are available throughout the calendar year and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Market does not permit tables for petitions or material of a graphic or partisan nature. Political groups with clipboards are allowed to circulate through the Market; they are encouraged to first check in at the Market Information Booth.

micro grantS PROGRAM

For more than two decades, the Market has supported various area non-profits with micro-grants; the number of awardees and amount has been determined annually based on funds remaining after expenses. Unfortunately, the difficult decision to reduce discretionary spending in the coming year has led to the suspension of the grant program in 2025. The Market salutes its 2024 recipients and is optimistic that the program will return in the future.
